Nigeria militants kidnapped 200 villagers

Islamist group Boko Haram militants stormed a remote village in northeast Nigeria, killing at least 33 people and abducted 200 people.

Boko Haram militants have kidnapped about 200 people, including men, women and children in the village Gumsuri, BBC quoted one survivor said.The attack occurred the day 14/12 but the information has been notified after the survivors to the city of Maiduguri, Borno state capital.
Abba Musa, a surviving villagers estimated 172 insurgents kidnapped after the tally Gumsuri village head, Reuters said.
The attackers shouted "God is even religious" and shootings. "My sister and her seven children were arrested," Musa said. "We ran into the bushes and survived. Not much luck as we". At least 33 people were killed in the incident.
Meanwhile, a security source confirmed rebel group has abducted more than 100 people and killed 35 people, including the head of the county.
Chibok Maina, who did not witness the attack on the village to visit family but even then, the rebels said the victims transported by truck. "They also burned a medical center of government, many houses and shops," said Chibok.
Aliyu Mamman, local civil defense, said the security forces did not appear to prevent the rebels.
